Brooklyn Book Fair

Brooklyn Book Fair
This past Sunday I went
to the
Brooklyn Book Fair.

Sponsored by Borough President
Marty Markowitz.

Most of the booths
were crazy people
hawking self-published
detritus.

However.

Tiny House Publishing
published Matt Kish's
project- he made
an illustration for each
page of
Moby Dick.

Kish is also
a librarian.

New Hero much?

 I also went to
a panel, called
"Apocalypse Now, Then What?"

I love apocalyptic lit
and it gave me an
optimistic lens
to view those books through.

Which is unusual,
I think.

So I guess I have to read
Moby Dick
kind of soon.
Since it keeps coming up.
