Happy Birthday, Sarah

I love mail.

Sending, receiving, writing.

I have several pen pals.

One of my favorite things is making cards for people-

Birthday Cards, Thank You Cards, anything with a theme.

Maybe I love the idea of making something &

imposing it on somebody else-

making a thing and then getting it out of my space.

I guess I don't really care if people throw them away.

I went to London for a semester when I was in college

and my assigned roommate Sarah and I 

couldn't have been better matched as travel buddies.

We liked to go to sleep early and get up early,

walk until our feet fell off,

and try to find the best thing to eat for our dollar (or Pound, or Euro).
